When is the best time to see the northern lights?
Between late August and early April, with the highest chance on clear nights from December to March.
Is winter clothing included?
Most tours include thermal overalls, boots, gloves and a balaclava. Each tour page lists exactly what is provided.
Are tours suitable for children?
Yes — husky, reindeer and Santa experiences welcome families. Snowmobile drivers must be 18+ with a licence.
What is your cancellation policy?
For regular tours, cancellation and booking-change conditions depend on the activity provider. Please check the policy for your chosen tour before booking. The separate policy below applies only to Dino the Elf private home visits, where each time is privately reserved and cannot easily be rescheduled or offered to another customer.
Cancellation Policy – Dino the Elf Private Home Visits
Dino the Elf visits are private experiences scheduled especially for your family. Therefore, a different cancellation policy applies, and changes to your booking time cannot always be accommodated. We understand that unexpected and unavoidable situations can happen. If something comes up, please contact Dino the Elf as soon as possible. We value good communication and will do our best to discuss the situation with you and find a reasonable solution where possible. Please contact us directly regarding cancellations or requests to change your booking. Changes are subject to availability, and a new time cannot be guaranteed.
Refund Policy
By accepting the cancellation policy and booking terms, you acknowledge and agree to these conditions. Once the policy and agreement have been accepted and the booking is confirmed, refunds are not available. If unexpected or unavoidable circumstances arise, please contact Dino the Elf as soon as possible at info@dinotheelf.com. We will review your situation and discuss possible solutions where appropriate, but a refund cannot be guaranteed.
